It is known, that our Ancestors picked cotton in fields of the American South, it is also known that the cotton thorn caused pain and scarring.
As the cotton is being reclaimed, so is the cotton thorn - and with two cotton thorns, the Ancestors have spoken (whispered) and appeared into my dreames with encouragement to wrap the thorns with ancient copper and create earrings.
And so it is, and so it is sacred and protected and fashion for their successors.
